Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American stage actress and producer, is known for playing in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She received a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. She started her career acting in 1995 when she played Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway she was a part of the cast on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Her film career is highlighted by her roles on Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. On television, her part in ABC's police drama High Incident is well known.
