Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was just 14 years old. Aspen Ladd had training in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd then went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. After that she took on WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen by unanimous decision. This left a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move to the weight class of Bantamweight following her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities took down McGill her first time, and she was able finish her opponent in the 3rd round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen took on Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. In her last fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, taking on Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina and pounded her with a ground and pound to score a second-round TKO victory. She came back to her winning ways and racked up an impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger within the first minute and was awarded the night's bonus. Sijara Eubanks, a member of Invicta FC, was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters earned each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie broke Ladd's streak of winning in 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision against her.
