Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is a model, actor and inventor. Her career began at her home in Australia and then moving to Hollywood which was where she achieved great successes. George, a native of Perth located in the Western Australian state of Perth, began her career in dance and artistic roller-skating. She received the Western Australia Teenage Model Of the Year Award for modelling career. Her screen debut came the following year in the episode from Seven Network s soap opera Home and Away . Dark City was her debut on the large screen. After that, she played supporting roles in Alias The Limey, Down with Love as well as other productions. Then in 2005's film remake The Amityville Horror as the lead female character in popular Hollywood. Presently, she's one of the most desired Australian expats working within the American film and entertainment industry.
