Carey, who is almost 5'10 and was once an iconic American fashion model. Famous designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren loved her. In 1979, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists named her father Scientist of the Year. Carey was educated all over the planet due to her father's career. When she was attending in the University of Colorado at part-time and was able to catch the attention of the Ford model Agency representative in New York. She moved to France in 1980 and lived for a short time in Paris as well as Bordeaux prior to deciding to move back home to New York to continue with her college education and modeling career. She soon began being featured on the cover of Vogue, Glamour, etc. While she was modeling, she was a full time student who was pursuing a degree in literature at New York University.
