Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of notoriety as a fiddler occurred in the year 1990 when she was 19 years old and was awarded the Grammy award for Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe in many ways, not just because Krauss was young and also due to the fact that I've Got That Old Feeling was the 3rd album in her collection. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It debuted in Champaign Illinois in the year she was 16. When she was 14, she signed her first contract for her debut album with Rounder Records - one of the most revered folk-based labels. Her accomplishments even at such a young age, as well as her skill, are consistently confirmed by the fact that she's been a loyal supporter of bluegrass, one of America's most enduring and least appreciated musical genres. Krauss had now matured from a young teen star to a professional musician and producer. Alison Alison Alison
